Vivien B. Deitz has written a children's book entitled the THE DOING AND BEING ROOM. "The Doing and Being Room" is a testimony to the spirit and resilience of a child's imagination and how it deals with the issues of childhood loneliness and fear. A book about the beginning stages of connection to oneself and then to others. While awaiting her publisher, Vivien has been on a reading circuit in kindergartens through second graders in the DC area.

The exercise of Vivien's reading has been to observe response/reaction and create conversations of creativity, childhood loneliness and friendship development. Through the late spring, she has done 6 readings to both public and private schools in the MD and DC area. In the coming months, she will be scheduling readings in hospitals and libraries. Vivien's second book, Beyond the Sand, is to be presented shortly.
